[Or... soonish, anyway. She's a long time with Wrath and when she does finally show up to the bridge, it's clear she's been crying - not heavily, but the signs are there.
Oh yeah also there's the whole black eye thing.]
Vision? Or I suppose I should say, Captain. [Small smile.]
[If she wants to tell him, he has no doubt she will. As it is, he's accustomed enough to people sparring that a black eye is hardly anything to remark on.
The Vision takes the envelope and looks over the letter. It's short enough, but it brings a smile to his face anyway. When he's finished reading he looks up.]
It was very kind of you to keep this for her, Dr. Crusher. Thank you for sharing with us.
[He thinks he'll let Wrath keep it, though; his memory is good enough without physical reminders.]
[Beverly is relieved at the smile the letter draws from Vision - she’s hardly in a good state at the moment for comforting anyone, though of course, she would try anyway, if he needed it. The smile she gives in return is accompanied by a wince, but it’s genuine.]
It’s the least I could do for her. It's important to have a chance to say goodbye.
[A large part of it is that, for him, it's not goodbye. Natasha's only going home to meet him, and besides, time has a slightly different meaning to a bearer of an Infinity Stone.]
It is, and it's a testament both to her understanding and preparedness. I'll be glad to fulfill her request.
May I get you a hot drink or anything? We have mint tea, if you like.
[She hesitates for a moment before shaking her head. Tea would be nice and she likes talking to Vision but she wants to get back to her ship and have some time to decompress after this long day of delivering letters.]
Thank you for the offer, but I ought to get back to the Blue Fish.
[Oh. She looks down, slightly surprised. That's her thing, taking people's hands, but it's nice, someone reaching the other way. She looks back up and squeezes his hand in return, offering him a rather lopsided smile - it hurts too much otherwise.]

I'm meeting Wrath on the Windrose shortly. I will come find you after I talk to her?

Like Natasha, there is another who I think of as the Captain. It is entirely up to you, however. Welcome.

Thank you.
[She holds out an envelope, which has his and Wrath's names written on the front and has been clearly opened.]
This is for you. I promise I didn't read anything, but Wrath did have a look at it already.

[He reaches over to give her hand a quick squeeze, hoping to be reassuring.]
Please let me know if there is anything I can do for you.

I will. Thank you.
