[If she wants to tell him, he has no doubt she will. As it is, he's accustomed enough to people sparring that a black eye is hardly anything to remark on.

The Vision takes the envelope and looks over the letter. It's short enough, but it brings a smile to his face anyway. When he's finished reading he looks up.]

It was very kind of you to keep this for her, Dr. Crusher. Thank you for sharing with us.

[He thinks he'll let Wrath keep it, though; his memory is good enough without physical reminders.]

[Beverly is relieved at the smile the letter draws from Vision - she’s hardly in a good state at the moment for comforting anyone, though of course, she would try anyway, if he needed it. The smile she gives in return is accompanied by a wince, but it’s genuine.]

It’s the least I could do for her. It's important to have a chance to say goodbye.

[A large part of it is that, for him, it's not goodbye. Natasha's only going home to meet him, and besides, time has a slightly different meaning to a bearer of an Infinity Stone.]

[She hesitates for a moment before shaking her head. Tea would be nice and she likes talking to Vision but she wants to get back to her ship and have some time to decompress after this long day of delivering letters.]

Thank you for the offer, but I ought to get back to the Blue Fish.

[He reaches over to give her hand a quick squeeze, hoping to be reassuring.]

[Oh. She looks down, slightly surprised. That's her thing, taking people's hands, but it's nice, someone reaching the other way. She looks back up and squeezes his hand in return, offering him a rather lopsided smile - it hurts too much otherwise.]
